i havent updated this site in a while now. a lot of crazy shit happened whilst i was gone. celebrated my 23rd birthday, obtained a whole fucking retro setup and going (will post pics soon), got addicted to weed, had an interstate trip go terribly wrong before it was to happen, and even more... anyways, fuck the modern world. i've been quite at home living in my bubble, disconnecting from most of the internet, playing ps2, watching old vhs tapes, going out more. even revamped the discord server to match in line with the site, so go check it out!

been collecting a shit-ton of compact discs for the retro setup (and another project to disconnect from streaming services) and got my hands on around the fur from deftones. i listened to these guys originally in the dragon ball z funimation dubs, that had a lot of nu metal shit goin. big fan of deftones, so this album is just a banger by default. also top 20 albums of all time for me, i'd have to say!

with the retro setup i acquired, i got my hands on a very juicy, very competent (and very fucking heavy) sony trinitron. queue many accessories, including an HDMI2AV adapter, i wanted to play some srb2 and ring racers on it, and even some sonic mania. however, whilst theres a hidden 4:3 mode, a lot gets broken. this mod recodes parts of the rsdkv5 decompilation by rubberduckycooly, along with file edits, to get a 4:3 experience playing mania! work in progress, don't ask for the link just yet!

unfortunately, between the hiatus on the website, my oculus quest 2 passed away. good way to make the last experience in that thing something that exceeded comprehension (:3). need to get my hands on a new headset when the time is right. might go for a 3S, perhaps. maybe just a normal quest 3. we'll see. no way am i getting a quest pro, that's way too expensive. here's the same photo from before since i dun got any new ones :c
